Rose Rosamond

ROSAMOND, Rose Anne - Age 95, of Highland formerly of Linden, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020.  Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St. Linden.  Fr. David Harvey officiating.  Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden.  Visitation will be held at the funeral Home Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project.

Rose was born March 11, 1925 in Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of James and Margaret (MacNeil) Higgins.  She was a graduate of St. VIncent High School in Detroit.  She married Orma Glen Rosamond January 8, 1983 in Detroit and he preceded her in death September 8, 1998.  She had resided in Highland coming from Linden/Detroit.  Rose retired in 1986 from the Mallard Pharmaceutical Company as a secretary after 40 years of service.  She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton.

Surviving are: daughter-in-law, Debbie Robbins (Craig) of Highland; grandsons, Robert Robbins (Rachel) of Holly and James Robbins (Domenica) of Mooresville, NC; 8 great grandchildren, Marissa, Mallory, Alex, Sam. Preston, T.J., Gary, and Skylar; and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Robbins; brothers, James, Michael, and Charles Higgins; and sister, Catherine Paczos.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
