Rose Marie MARKLE

MARKLE, Rose Marie - Age 91, of Holly, formerly of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Wynwood of Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, February 2, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial immediately following at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or Whaley Children's Center. Rose was born April 6, 1917 in Minneapolis, MN. She married Ralph Edson Markle March 15, 1958 in Flint and he preceded her in death September 20, 2005. She retired from GM Service Parts Operation on March 1, 1974 after 19 1/2 years of service. She enjoyed her family, traveling, Music and attending old car meets. Surviving are: daughter, Suzanne R. McDonald of Grand Blanc; son, J. Dallas and wife Jane Peel of Flint; 6 grandchildren, Ron and wife Penny Peel, Mike and wife Becky Peel, Tamera and husband David Collins, Kurt and wife Nicole Peel, Charles McDonald and Debra Chase; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; great grandson, Alex Peel; 2 brothers, Sylvester and Rudy Deitering; 3 sisters, Veronica Yaklin, Victoria Yaklin and Margaret Roat; her childrens father, Nelson L.
