Rose Mary KURCSIS

KURCSIS, Rose Mary - Age 86, of Linden, died Saturday, March 27, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden, with Pastor Kathy Phillips officiating. Burial immediately following in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 6-8 PM and Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Kurcsis was born November 26, 1923 in Linden, the daughter of Charles M. and Nancy B. (Cox) Collins. She married Julius John Kurcsis in 1951 in Indiana and he preceded her in death April 18, 1972. She had resided in Linden her entire life. Mrs. Kurcsis retired in 1988 from AC Spark Plug (Delphi) after 41 years of service. She was a member of the Linden Senior Center. Surviving are: 3 children, Frederick J. Kurcsis of Rock, Julie Ann and husband Dale Blackburn of Fenton and Donna Jean and husband Pete Goodroe of Gaines; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her companion, Otto Tallman of Linden; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, William, Glen and Lewis Collins; 2 sisters, Mary Seldon and Lillian Chene.
