Rose Mary Kinzie

Kinzie, Rose Mary- Age 89, of Atlanta, MI, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment will take place at a later date at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Rose's memory. Rose was born May 25, 1935 in Flint, the daughter of Hollis and Effie (Rivers) Dexter. Rose married Charles E. Kinzie on February 20, 1952 in Flint. Rose graduated from Grand Blanc High School with her niece Sheila, in 1977. She was a homemaker who also worked as a Vet Tech. She was a member of Big Rock Church in Atlanta and sang with the Sweet Adeline's. Rose enjoyed gardening. Surviving are: sons, Paul A. (Debra) Kinzie of Atlanta, MI., Joel S. Kinzie of Denver, CO; daughter-in-law, Jane Kinzie of Linden; grandchildren, Matt, Krista, Kari; great grandchildren, Austin, Liberty, Gunner; and brother, Bob Dexter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, sons Michael and James, daughter Sharon, siblings Eugene Dexter and Ruth Toomey.
