Rose M. Pavia Nord Howell

HOWELL, Rose M. (Ausiello) Pavia Nord  Age 88, of Flint, died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Fostrian-Heartland Health Care Center. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, February 12, 2005 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment will be held at Gracelawn Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Thursday and 12-5 and 6-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a scripture service will be held 6 PM Friday evening followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. Mrs. Howell was born August 1, 1916 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Dominic and Nancy (Aurino) Ausiello. She married Leonard Pavia on April 25, 1935 and he preceded her in death on November 22, 1971, she then married Leonard Nord and he preceded her in death in April 1986, she then married Irving Howell. Mrs. Howell was a member of the Sons of Italy, the Eagles, American Legion Auxiliary, Daughters of Isabelle and St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She loved dancing and playing cards. Surviving are: husband, Irving Howell of Flint Twp.; four children, Mary Nord of Swartz Creek, Nancy Stevens of Lapeer, Angie and husband, Gaylord Day of Swartz Creek, Gaspare Pavia and wife, Rozanna of Flushing; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Anthony Ausiello and wife, Josephine of Flushing; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; three brothers, John, Dominic and Patrick Ausiello.
