Rosanna "Joy" Dibler

DIBLER, Rosanna "Joy" - age 88, of Fenton, went Home to be with Jesus, surrounded by her children, Thursday, September 22, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, September 26 at Faith Church of Linden, 4518 Silver Lake Rd., Linden.  Pastor Daniel Patz officiating.  Interment will follow in Beebe Cemetery, Holly.  Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Sunday, September 25 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton; and 12-1 PM Monday September 26 at the church.  Those desiring may make contributions to The Care Team Hospice or Faith Church of Linden.

Joy was born February 13, 1934 in Detroit, the daughter of Russell W. and Sarah (Markwick) Rice.  She was a graduate of Fenton High School.  She married Allen Joseph Dibler on May 27, 1952 in Angola, IN; and he preceded her in death on January 26, 2009. Joy was a Mom and foster Mom to so many and she left a piece of heart with all of them. She was a longtime member of Faith Church in Linden, where she taught Sunday School.  She was a Child Evangelism/Good News Club teacher.  Joy loved her family! She had a passion for sharing Jesus with others.

Surviving are: 6 children, Laurie (Steve) Schupbach of Linden, Bonnie (Tim) Showers of Fenton, Julie Nolkemper of Linden, Allen (Cherie) Dibler Jr. of Byron, Nellie (Tim) LePard of Flint; Melanie (Todd) Barton of Burton;  14 grandchildren, Carrie, Tammy, Brian, Stephanie, Jeffrey, Jamie, Jeremy, Tara, Ty, Jack, Samantha Joy, Tommy, Paul, Zack; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren;  sister, BethTaylor;  foster children, Todd Hitchens, George Bolling, Quinten McNutt;  and several nieces and nephews.
