LEWIS, Rosalie S. -- Age 78, passed away June 19, 2016 at the Swank Home Assisted Living Swartz Creek. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday June 22, 2016 at Calvary Christian Church, 7315 Corunna Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor James Higgs officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Owosso. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and 10 AM until time of service at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or Calvary Christian Church. Rosalie was born November 26, 1937 in Fowlerville the daughter of Ulrich and Sarah (Vredenberg) Vogt. She was a long time member of the Calvary Christian Church of Swartz Creek and had been active in other local churches. She was an avid lover of flowers and gardening, and for years started her own flowers under grow lights at home. She also loved stamp collecting which she started as a teenager. She is survived her husband David Lewis; son Michael Lewis; daughter, Tracey Waltz; grandchildren, Trenton and Avery Waltz; sisters, Gerald (Loretta) Fouts, Keith (Sherry) Fruchey; many nieces and nephews.
