BLACK, Rosalie -- Age 65, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at Hurley Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11AM until time of service Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Rosalie Black Memorial Fund. Rosalie was born October 11, 1938 in Erie, PA, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Kijowski) Bolash. She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1998 coming from Flint and was a member of the Elba Lions Club. Surviving are: 5 children, Sharon (Jim) O'Neill of Flint, Howard Black of Grand Rapids, Michele Shaw of Flint, Brenda (David) Pickett of Flint, Melissa Black and Brett Hartshorn of Burton; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Joshua, Joseph, Jeremey, David, Daniel, Melanie, Sarah and Cheyenne; 1 great-granddaughter, Alicia; several brothers and sisters; and friends at Mari-Dan Senior Complex. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Howard Black.
