She was born on April 19, 1952, in Shepard, Michigan to the late Ralph Bird & Mary Eleanor (Balcer) Forsyth. She attended high school in Clio and went on to become a medical caregiver for many years. She was a very talented craftswoman - making countless cherished creations by quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, crocheting, knitting, and much more. In her last year she enjoyed passing her time coloring. Rosalie loved to bird watch, and her favorite bird was the cardinal. She also loved to garden, cook, bake, and have tea amongst her Victorian style decor. She was a wonderful, loving, patient, and supportive mother who was always there to lend an ear to those she cared for. She spent many joyful years living in Michigan's upper peninsula, on Lake Superior and near the Porcupine Mountains, surrounded by nature, before retreating closer to her hometown.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Eleanor; her father, Ralph Bird; husband, Ronald Hilborn and many brothers and sisters.
Rosalie is survived by and is loved dearly by her children, Deanna (Flick) Smith, Bryan Flick, and Mary Andre; her grandchildren, Corey Smith, Ashley Smith, Ezra Andre; great grandchildren, Oliver and Rayven Smith; niece, Marilyn; cousin Jim; brother, Rick and sisters Rita and Roxanne.
May she rest in peace as her memory lives on in all of her beautiful, cherished creations, the talent she passed down, and in the hearts of those who loved her.

Change can be a beautiful thing
Should things fall apart
