Rosa Lopez

Lopez, Rosa Maria - Age 68, of Flint, died September 28, 2017. Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Monday October 2 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1227 E. Bristol Rd. Burton. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 4 PM Saturday; and 11 AM - 2 PM and 4-8 PM Sunday with a 7 PM Rosary at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Visitation will also be 10-11 AM Monday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Alzheimers Association. Rosa was born December 18, 1948 in Monterrey, Mexico. She came to the United States in 1956. She helped mold the minds of today, working as a Para-Pro in the Bilingual program at Washington Elementary from 1977-2009. Rosa was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life was dedicated to her family. Rosa is survived by her husband, David; children: David (Tammy) Lopez, Patricia (Steven) Friday, Victoria Lopez, Manuel (DeAnn) Lopez, Daniel (Amber) Lopez; 19 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Fernando (Nilda) Guajardo, Maria (Randall) Whitman, Carmen (Delbert) Addison, Delia (Steven) Wolfe, and numerous nieces and nephews.
