BLANKENSHIP, Ronnie Wilson, age 67, of Fenton, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 8PM Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Military honors will be performed under the auspices of Fenton V.F.W. Curtis-Wolverton Post #3243. Visitation will be held 6-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Ronnie was born June 14, 1940 in Lamar, West Virginia the son of Woodrow Wilson  and Nannie Bell (McBride) Blankenship. He attended Fenton High School and was employed by General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 1991. Ronnie was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Florida and the Fenton Moose Lodge. Surviving are his daughter, Dana Snavely and husband Carl of Linden; grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, Britni all of Linden; great-granddaughter, Kaydance expected in September; siblings, Eugene Blankenship and wife Barbara of Fenton, Oscar Blankenship and wife Patsy of North Carolina, Shirley Politte and husband E.G. of Swartz Creek, Mark Blankenship of Fenton and many nieces and nephews.
