Ronald "Ron" Lawrey

LAWREY, Ronald "Ron" Gerard - Age 62, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, September 24, 2020. A private memorial will take place at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek.

Ron was born on December 5, 1957 in Detroit the son of William C. and Barbara A. (Miske) Lawrey. He graduated from Flushing High School, class of 1976. Ron and Mary Cribbs were united in marriage on March 12, 1983 in Flint. He worked for the United States Post Office as a Postmaster in Otisville before his retirement. Ron loved spending time with his family and he was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lawrey; four children,  David Jory, Jamee Jory, Jeffrey Lawrey and Gregory Lawrey and his fiancée, Caity Pratt; six grandchildren, Lilee Bishop, Hailey Wilson, Alexa Ford, and Sophia, Kinsley and Bryton Lawrey; mother, Barbara Lawrey; three brothers, Mike, David, and Doug Lawrey; and sister, Diane Ridley.
