WINGBLAD, Ronald John - age 77, of Fenton, died February 24, 2022. Funeral mass will be celebrated 1:30 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment will follow at Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, March 4, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Friday evening. Visitation will also be held 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Saturday at the church. Ronald was born June 13, 1944 in Wyandotte, MI, the son of Gerald and Lauretta (Brennan) Wingblad. Ronald married Jane Schroeder in 1966. He was a toolmaker for many years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, gardening, bird watching and loved his beloved cats, Ricky and Larry. Surviving are: wife of 56 years, Jane; three children, Bethany (Tim) Stewart of Kalamazoo, Peter (Kristine) Wingblad of Linden, and Ben Wingblad of Brighton; six grandchildren, Riley, Jackson, Joshua, Jason, Roslyn, and Ben; brother, Terry Wingblad of Hartland; and many nieces and nephews.
