Ronald Skutt

SKUTT, Ronald Francis - age 65 of Linden, died Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his residence. Services will be held 1 PM Monday, April 6, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to McLaren Hospice. Ronald was born September 12, 1949 in Flint, the son of Delmar Wright and Barbara Jane (Phelps) Skutt, Sr. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart among other decorations. Mr. Skutt retired from General Motors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading. He was a self-educated man and a life long learner. Surviving are: three children, Michael (Emily) Skutt of Elyria, OH, Laura Skutt of Fremont, OH, Marc (Sarah) Skutt of Linden; eight grandchildren, Devin, Jalen, Carissa, Parker, Quentin, Meadow, Avery and Dominic; great-grandson, Joseph; two brothers, Terry (Esther) Skutt of Holt and Garry (Peggy) Skutt of GA.
