July 9, 1948 — August 25, 2010

RYAN, Ronald "Santa Claus" - age 62, of Flushing, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Services will be held 3 PM Sunday, August 29, 2010 at First Baptist Church, 800 Louisa St., Mt. Morris with Pastor Mark Conn officiating. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Friday and 2-5 and 6-8 PM Saturday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Ron was a dearly beloved and generous man who will be extremely missed by all who knew him. He truly enjoyed fishing, hunting and doing anything and everything he could for family, friends and complete strangers. Without a doubt he had a Santa's heart. Surviving are: wife, Carrie; daughter, Alicia Ryan; sons, Jacob and Shaun (Jessie); granddaughter, Brianne Vigeant; grandson, Lil Shaun; brothers, Don (Cathy) Ryan, Greg Ryan,; mother, Betty Ryan; nephews, Eric (Mary) Ryan, Jason (Cathy) Ryan, Nathan Ryan; great-nephews, Gabriel Ryan, Jason M. Ryan; great-niece, Savana Ryan; close life-long friends, Rod Shumaker and Joe Quinn; many other dear friends and family. He will especially be missed by Roxy his beloved dog. Ron was preceded in death by his first wife, Aloma (Ryan) Dues; his father, David Ryan; and brother, Michael Ryan.
