Ronald Lee Rolston

ROLSTON, Ronald Lee - Age 85, of Fenton, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, August 21, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. Fenton (A live stream of the Mass will be available on Ronald's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday August 22, 2023 in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton from 4-8 PM Sunday; and at church Monday from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. A Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home Sunday at 7 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. 

Ron was born July 19, 1938 in Sparta, the son of Irving and Elizabeth (Cousineau) Rolston. He was a 1956 graduate of Sparta High School; and attended Grand Rapids Junior College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He married Joyce Marie Reynolds July 25,1964 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Flint. Ron owned and operated Rolston Fine Home Furniture in Traverse City; and he also worked for Fenton Home Furnishings and Ross Furniture. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. He had run the Crim for many years. Ron enjoyed attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events and hockey games. 

Surviving are: His wife, Joyce; children, Gregory Rolston, Ronald (Shannon) Rolston,,Dayna Rolston, and Brian (Jennifer) Rolston; grandchildren, Bailee (Tom) Fancher, Blair (Mitchell) Wollard, Payton Kozak, Ryder Rolston, Avery Kozak, Brody Rolston, Stone Rolston, Maeve Rolston, Reese Kozak, Ronan Rolston and Zane Rolston; great grandchildren, Loren and Oaklen Fancher; sister, Phylis Kutzli.
