Ronald Mark Prime

August 5, 1943 — January 28, 2004

PRIME, Ronald Mark  Age 60, of Mundy Twp./Fenton, died Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at his residence. Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will  be held 7-9 PM Thursday, 2-5 & 7-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Wayne State University Brain Tumor Research c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Ronald was born August 5, 1943 in Caro, the son of Orville and Maxine (Shaver) Prime. He was a graduate of Unionville High School and attended Michigan Tech. Mr. Prime was a member of Transfiguration Lutheran Church and Fenton Moose Lodge. He had lived in the Fenton area and was in business in Fenton for many years.  He started Fluid & Electric Controls in Fenton, which he later merged with Atlas Technologies. He served as President & CEO until his retirement. He then remained active in operations and served on the board of directors until his death. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and golf. Surviving are: wife, Marilyn; three children, Rhonda Prime-Migliaccio and husband Joe of Maine, RaeLynn Prime and companion Michele Gilbert of Gaines, Timothy Prime and wife Tammy of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Celia and Tara Migliaccio, Dalton and Devon Prime; parents, Orville and Maxine Prime of Florida; brother, Terrance Prime and wife Karen of Sanford; sister, Bethany Russell and husband Larry of Plano, TX; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Carol Paavo of Plymouth, MI.
