McINTYRE, Ronald C. - Age 86, of Fenton, formerly of Ferndale, died June 3, 2004. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, June 5, 2004 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment in St. John Cemetery, with graveside honors following under the auspices of Fenton V.F.W. Curtis Wolverton Post 3243. Visitation will be held 3-5 and 7-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A scripture service will be held 7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Ronald was born May 25, 1918 in Bad Axe the son of Hugh and Mary Ann McIntyre. He served his country as a corporal during WWII in the 507th parachute infantry regiment of the 82nd Airborne division receiving the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He married Mary F. Lednicky in 1946. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1981 with over 30 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Surviving are: wife Mary; 6 children, Leo (Alice) of Franklin, MI, Marcia (Al) Gurche of Sterling Heights, Michael (Denise) of Clarkston, Kerry (Bill) Kuzak of Clinton Township, Warren (Jan) of Troy, Jeanine (Dave) Dunaj of Berkley; 12 grandchildren; 6 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian; grandson, Colin; sisters and brothers, Helen Gardiner, John Raymond McIntyre, Allan McIntyre, Margaret Behrend, Angus McIntyre.
