McBride, Ronald Dean - age 87, of Bancroft, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, November 11, 2019 at House of Prayer, 9974 Old M-78, Haslett, MI 48840 with Rev. David Cokonougher officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the House of Prayer or Durand Senior Care and Rehab Activities Department. Ronald was born January 23, 1932 in Flint, the son of Roy Deane and Helen Coreen (Stice) McBride. He was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School. Ronald married Dawn Elaine Irish on February 10, 1974. He retired from General Motors as a Fork Truck Driver after 30 years of service. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, and practical jokes. He was an artist, race car driver and loved children. Ronald was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed. Surviving are: wife, Dawn E. McBride; children, Douglas McBride (Diana), Dawn Johannes, Denise Reinwasser, Tracy (Chuck) Detweiler, and Sharla (Jonathan) Lear; daughter-in-law, Carla; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Knoblock and Eileen Befosky.
