Ronald was born on May 26, 1948 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Walter and Ann (Toth) Kellaway. He married Donna Vargason on May 11, 1974. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam. He retired from Delphi. Ron cared so much for others. He loved spending time with his family; things like camping trips and scenic vacations, riding snowmobiles and ATV's, deer hunting, and especially boating on torch lake. He had many hobbies and excelled at most anything that peaked his interest. He was quite intelligent, and enjoyed spreading his knowledge and experiences with everyone around him. Ron's strong work ethic always had him taking on a new, even bigger project, pushing himself at all times to be better. This is a trait he continuously sought to pass along to his sons and grand-children, and took pride in all he had accomplished. Whether you knew him his whole life or just for a single conversation, he will forever leave a lasting impression on our hearts. Surviving are wife of 43 years, Donna; son Nick (Mandy) Kellaway of Grand Blanc; grandchildren Austin, Olivia, Alyssa; great-granddaughter Sophia; brothers, Wally (Rose), Mike (Beth), Gary (Deb); sisters-in-law, Shirley (Don) Frost, Phyliss Sanders, Margaret (Joe) Frame, Connie (Jimmy) Stevenson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and son Chris. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
