GEORGE, Ronald Timothy - age 70, of Flushing, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at his residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. 310 N. Cherry St., Flushing with Rev. Fr. Gordon Reigle celebrant. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a scripture service will be held at 7 PM Tuesday evening. Visitation will also be held 9 AM - 10 AM Wednesday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Flushing Christian Outreach Center, 201 N. McKinley Rd., Flushing. Mr. George was born January 31, 1946 in Flint, the son of Joseph and Thelma (Beaubin) George. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and married Sandra Conquest on August 27, 1966. Mr. George retired from General Motors as a truck driver in 1995 after 30 years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local 659. Surviving are: wife, Sandra of Flushing; two daughters, Michelle (Doug) Campbell of Attica and Tamera George of Flushing; two granddaughters, Ashley (David) Whiting of Imlay City and Amanda (Brent) Waggoner of Wixom; three great-grandchildren, Trystan and Trenton Whiting and Harper Waggoner; three brothers, Kenneth, Joseph and Raymond (Patricia) George. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and two brothers, Gerold George and Harold George.
