Ronald Daniels

Daniels, Ronald Gene - Age 89, of Grand Blanc, died October 18, 2022. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday October 25 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. (The service may be viewed by live stream at Mr. Daniels page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. ) Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM on Tuesday October 25. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County or Hope Floats.

Ronald  was born September 2, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of John Daniels and Mary "Althea" (Westgate) Daniels. He was a graduate of Flint Northern High School where he played in the Band and on the Golf Team. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired printer having worked for Grand Blanc Printing and Allied Printing. He was a Past President of the Litho Club. He was an avid golfer achieving his first "Hole-in-One" at the age of 81. He was a former member of the Davison County Club. Ron was a Slow pitch Umpire for many years with Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation. He was a member of the Grand Blanc American Legion # 413. Ron was a die hard University of Michigan fan.   Surviving are: wife of 31 years, Bonnie; two daughters,  Laura Cummings, Lisa (Craig) Nelson; two step-children, Brian (Kimmerie) Dunkel, Jennifer Dunkel (Ryan Farnsworth); grandchildren, Sara (Greg) Edwards, Jessica Nelson, Robert Nelson, (Nikki Randall), Nicholas Dunkel; great-grandchild, Kelsey Greene; mother of his daughters Barbara Daniels; several cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John.
