Ronald Beebe

BEEBE, Ronald C. - Age 81, of Swartz Creek, died January 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Thursday, January 12 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place 1 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or to the charity of one's choice. Ronald was born November 25, 1935 in Chesaning, the son of Carleton and Ila (Lumley) Beebe. He was a 1954 graduate of Grand Blanc High School. He married Carole June Runnals in Montrose on June 27, 1970. Ronald worked as a tool and die maker at General Motors, retiring in 1988 after 35 years of service. Ronald enjoyed hunting, golfing, square dancing, motorcycle riding, fishing, and being the pilot of his own plane. He is survived by Carole his wife of 46 years; daughters, Dawn (Charles) Torpey, Anne Marie (Matthew) Malott, step son, Daniel (Tracy) McAfee, step daughter, Susan (Terry) Paxton; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
