Romaine Croteau

CROTEAU, Romaine F.- Age 84, of Burton died Friday August 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, August 15 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Deacon Rod Amon officiating. Interment at Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 2-6 PM Sunday, and 1 PM until time of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or the Swartz Creek American Legion Romaine was born June 13, 1932 in Flint to Alfred and Delia (Rivett) Croteau. He was a veteran of the U.S Army, serving in Korea. He retired from GM-Chevrolet. Romaine was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Williams; caring nephew, Rick Croteau who spent so many hours managing Romaine's health and property and business; special longtime friend, Joyce Burtoff who stood by him in his illness; many cousins; nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold and Albert Croteau; sisters, Marie Gillette and Delphine Carney.
