Roger Satkowiak

SATKOWIAK, Roger William - Age 57, of Gaines, died Thursday, January 30, 2020.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, February 3, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  Deacon Rod Amon officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 2-7 PM.  Those desiring may make contributions to Byron FFA.

Roger was born April 18, 1962 in Flint, the son of Eugene and Jean (Litten) Satkowiak.  He was a 1980 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and received an Associate Degree in Dairy Tech. from Michigan State University.  He had resided in Gaines his entire life.  He married Sally Ann Williams July 17, 1993 in Bancroft.  Roger was a member of the St. Joseph Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are: his wife, Sally; son, Nicholas Satkowiak of Gaines; daughter, Maija Satkowiak (Elliott Uilao) of Honolulu, HI; mother, Jean Satkowiak of Gaines; siblings, Tami Lepley of Stanwood, Jeff (Rachel) Satkowiak of Gaines, Katie (Chad) Alverson of Middleville, and Kevin (Amy) Satkowiak of DeWitt; sisters-in-law, Pam (Melvin) Carpenter of Florida, Gayle (Steve) Walker of Cincinnati, OH, and Lynette (Tim) Bradley of Gaines; brother-in-law, Mark (Kelly) Williams of Romeo; and several nieces and nephews.
