Roger Sack

Sack, Roger August - Age 69, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, June 28, 2014. Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 4PM to 8PM Wednesday and 1PM until time of service. Roger was born November 12, 1944 in Flint, Michigan the son of the late August Roy and Freda Mae (Canteberry) Sack. Roger married Connie Strauch on July 11, 1965 in Orange Vale, CA. Mr. Sack enjoyed horse back trail riding and was a member of Michigan Trail Riders. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, woodworking in his workshop, reading and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Roger worked at General Motors Truck and Bus plant as a electrician and as a committee man for several years. He served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, and was stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California, where he met his wife Connie. Surviving are: wife, Connie of Swartz Creek; children, Rick (Debbie) Sack of Swartz Creek, Christine (Chad) Rainey of NC, Cynthia Young of Linden; grandchildren, Zachary, Tabatha, Cody, Brian, Brandon, Becky; sister, Debi (Glen) Drake of Flint; nephews, Christopher and Tommy.
