LOSEY, Roger D. -- age 61, of Swartz Creek, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2007 at home. Â A Memorial service will be held 2:30 PM Monday, April 2, 2007 at St. Paul Episcopal Church, of which he was a member, 711 S. Saginaw St., Flint, Fr. Martin Field officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the service time Monday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to McLaren Hospice or St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Â Mr. Losey was born February 7, 1946 in Flint, the son of Gilbert A. and Estelle S.(Hackett) Losey. He graduated from Central High School in 1966. He married Suzanne Tippett on May 17, 1969 in Flint. Mr. Losey served in the US Army as SP4. He worked at AC Spark Plug/Delphi as a job setter for 31 years retiring in 1999. He also worked part-time at Coyote Preserve in lawn maintenance for 6 years. He was member of American Legion Post #0225 and Moose Lodge #1437. Â Â Surviving are: his wife, Suzanne of Swartz Creek; son, Bryan (Linda) Losey of Clio; grandson, Paul Rasch of Clio; brothers, Gerald (Shelly) Losey of Crystal Falls, Michael (Jacquie) Losey of Burton, Richard (Jane) Losey of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Norene (Chauncey) Rood of Mt. Morris, Bonnie Anderson, Sharon (Richard) Zakariasen, all of Golf Shores, AL; in-laws, Ernest (Irene) Tippett of Flint, Sharon (Lawrence) Tarrant of Parkersburg, WV, Richard (Linda) Tippett of Toledo, OH; godson, Stephen Tarrant; 59 nieces and nephews; 73 great nieces and nephews; 12 great, great nieces and nephews.
