HALE, Roger Vaughn Jr. - Age 85, of Linden, died January 17, 2018. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Roger was born August 20, 1932 in Lexington, KY, the son of Roger Vaughn and Gertrude Trevlin (Riley) Hale. He was married to Joan R. Knapp on October 24, 1970. He is survived by his wife, Joan; sons, Roger V. (Kristi) Hale III and Timothy J. (Lori) Hale; grandchildren, Kayla, Aidan and Meghan; brother, Donald (Joan) Hale; sister, Bette Panzoff; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marjorie and Corine; brother, David.
