Roger Davis

DAVIS, Roger Tyrus - age 95, of Linden, died March 17, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439 with Pastor Bob Scott officiating. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, MI 48451 and from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Roger was born May 19, 1927 in Detroit, the son of Wayman Carl and Myrtle Jane (Lashley) Davis. He married Joyce Marlyn Franz on June 9, 1951 in Detroit and she preceded him in death on October 19, 2011. Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a Stationary Engineer at several different facilities over the years. He enjoyed travel, boating, photography and dogs. Surviving are: three children, Charlotte Davis of Howell, Paul (Sue) Davis of Pinckney, and Carl (Laura) Davis of Linden; three grandchildren, Kristine (Doyle) Lewis, James Davis and Daniel Davis; sister-in-law, Jean Davis.
