Roger L. CONLEY, Sr.

CONLEY, Roger L. Sr., age 79, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Heritage Manor Healthcare Center, Flint. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Chaplain Goodman Cox officiating. Interment in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 2:00-4:00p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Roger was born March 1, 1932 in Reedy West Virginia the son of the late Ralph and Laura (Burdett) Conley. He married Shirley Hall in Point Marion, PA on September 3, 1954. Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving as a heavy equipment operator. Roger was employed and a manager by K-Mart Corporation until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Kokomo, IN and American Legion Post in Grand Blanc. Surviving are his wife, Shirley; 4 children, Belinda Monroe of Louisville, KY, Roger L. Conley Jr. of Flint, Mark Conley (Michelle) of West Palm Beach, FL, Terri Prince (Dave) of Burton; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Conley (JoJo); 3 sisters, Bonnie Bobo (Gary) of NC, Wilma Jo Wilson of CA, Betty Conley of CA; sister-in-law, Laura Conley of PA; many nieces and nephews.
