BIRMINGHAM. Roger Dale, age 57, of Flint, passed away Ocober 11, 2011 at home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Minister John Southern officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Roger was born October 11, 1954 in Flint, the son of Kenneth and Lucille (Ellison) Birmingham. He married Luann Todd on October 19, 1973 in Flint. Roger graduated from Northwestern High School in 1972 and earned his Bachelor Degree in Business from University of Michigan. He was previously employed by Meijer for 19 years as produce manager, and later by Hawks Excavating, Zeller Excavating and lastly, Phillips Excavating. Surviving are his wife, Luann; 3 sons, Roger Birmingham II (Lorie) of Fenton, Timothy Birmingham (Aundrea) of Lady Lakes, FL, David Birmingham (Christy) of Burton; grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, Hailey, Breanna, Shawna; mother, Lucille Birmingham of Flint; 2 sisters, Charlene "Sissy" Shirey, Debra Southern (John) both of Flint; nephews, Kenneth Earl Birmingham, Jr., Jason, Kevin (Amanda), Adam, Bryan Southern, Travis, Curtis Shirey; niece, Jodi Davenport (Jeff); great-nephews, Devin Birmingham, Aiden Southern; great-nieces, Cassie Davenport, Kaytryn, Scianna Birmingham; several aunts, uncle, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Leamon Birmingham; brother, Kenneth Earl Birmingham and sister, Karen fay Birmingham.
