Roger D. Barrett

BARRETT, Roger D.  Age 41, of Mt. Morris, died Saturday, February 12, 2005 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, February 17, 2005 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5191 Richfield Rd., Flint with Fr. Paul Schwermer celebrant. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Tuesday and 12-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint (just south of Hill Rd.). In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Roger D. Barrett Memorial Fund. Roger was born February 14, 1963 in Flint, the son of Robert William and Frances Mae (Jones) Barrett. He was a mechanic at Louies Towing in Mt Morris for many years. He was a member of Auto City Eagles Club Aire 3485 where he served on the Board of Trustees. Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are: son, Robert William Barrett; daughter, Melissa Marie Barrett; fiancâ?se, Laura Goodall of Mt. Morris; five siblings, Pat Barrett and wife, Donna of Montrose, Ruth Ann and husband, Dave Brown of Burton, Kathleen and husband, Keith Alander of Flint, Teresa Barrett of Grand Blanc, Mike Barrett and wife, Cindy of Burton; several nieces and nephews.
