Rodney G. SKELTON

SKELTON, Rodney G. -- Age 58, of Fenton, died February 8, 2009 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 14 at the Pontiac Country Club, 4335 Elizabeth Lake Road, Waterford. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Pontiac Country Club, C/O Lloyd Syron. Rodney was born April 4, 1950 in Pontiac the son of Marvin D. and Doris Mae (Hawes) Skelton. He married Vicky Shaw on March 16, 1973. He was the Superintendant for the Pontiac Country Club and had worked for them for 45 years. Surviving are: wife, Vicky; four children, Rodney Dathon Skelton and wife Buffy of Waterford, Sarah and husband Michael Macklem of Grand Blanc, James Skelton of Marquette, Laura Skelton and fiance Kyle Knickerbocker of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Taylor and Dathon Skelton, Hannah, Cameron, and Maxwell Macklem; two brothers and two sisters, Michael Skelton and wife Judy of Frisco, TX, Diane and husband Michael Miller of Fenton, Jeffery Skelton and wife Cheri of Fenton, Patricia Raines of Tampa, FL; the Syron Family of the Pontiac Country Club.
