NIEMAN, Rodney Oren - age 72, of Fenton, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 21 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt A Pet of Fenton.

Rodney was born March 26, 1952 in Flint, the son of Kenneth F. Nieman and Alice (McNally) Nieman. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School and was an Eagle Scout. He received his Bachelor's degree from University of Michigan Flint. He retired as a real estate surveyor. Rodney loved attending church where he was very involved and served as an usher. He enjoyed boating, fishing, walking and History. He collected coins and stamps.

He is survived by two sisters, Sharon Richards of Florence, SC and Janice (Greg) Carol of Fenton; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenton.
