RUKKILA, Rodney L.- Age 33, of Fenton, passed away suddenly, August 14, 2020. Private Services will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Rodney was born September 12, 1986 in Flint, the son of Rodney L. and Dawna L. (Sloan) Rukkila. His life began with Lauren Fields on February 3, 2009.  Rodney graduated from Linden High School. He was an amazing carpenter who loved spending time with Lauren and their children. Rodney was a "mama's boy"! He enjoyed fishing, U of M sports, Detroit Tigers baseball, golfing, and he especially loved music.

Rodney is survived by: his wife, Lauren Fields-Rukkila; children, Sophia and Sawyer; mother, Dawna L. Rukkila; sisters, Rena (Donn) Winkler, Jennifer (Nathan) Janes, Alydia (David) Bishop; grandfather, Leonard Rukkila; father in law and mother in law, Charles and Catherine Fields; sister's in law, Aimee (Jeffrey) McGlinchey, Nicole (Phil) Ramsden; nieces and nephews, Trent, Gavyn, Owen, Rhyin, Archer, Evelyne, Dakota, Miranda, Hannah, Alex, Sean, Jacob, and Jessika; Godfather, Jack Wester; Godmother, Shelley Koski; many aunts; uncles; and cousins.
