Rodger Hadden

HADDEN, Rodger Dean - Age 74, of Burton, went to be with the lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 12 PM Monday, June 21 at Heritage United Church of Christ 7074 Davison Rd. Davison. Visitation will be 11AM until time of service at the church Monday. Arrangements are provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the family. Rodger was born on December 7, 1946 in Detroit the son of Charles and Gladys (Smith) Hadden. He graduated from Kearsley High School. Rodger proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1970. He worked as an armed security guard for many years. Rodger was a member of the Mid-Michigan Antique Machine Association (MMAMA), NRA and the 2 cycle engine club. He enjoyed fishing, ghost hunting, metal detecting, CB radios and conspiracies. Left to cherish his memory are long time companion, Shawn Kenny; 4 children, Veronica (Kevin) Hearn, Heidi (Robert) Shears, Ryan (Vanessa) Hadden and Cameron (Verena) Hadden; step-daughter, Amy (Andrew) Becks; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
