GLASPIE, Mr. Robin Hoyt - Age 58, of Linden, died Saturday, May 13, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, Fenton. Burial in Sharp Cemetery Deerfield Township. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice, Rose Cancer Center at Beaumont Hospital, or to a charity of your choice. Robin was born August 3, 1958 in Flint the son of Robert Hoyt and Betty Lou (Wenderlein) Glaspie. He was a 1976 graduate of Fenton High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Denise Ketzler October 15, 1988 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton. Robin retired in 2009 from GM Orion Assembly after 32 years of service and he had also worked at the GM V-8 Engine Plant and Buick. He was member of the U.A.W.. He enjoyed golfing, cooking, jazz music, camping, wintering in Florida, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are: his wife, Denise; sons, Jason Irwin and Roxanne Fakes of Fenton, Justin (Kristen) Irwin of Fenton, and Steffen Niedermeyer of Germany; 5 grandchildren, Victoria, MyKenzye, Garrett, Spencer, and Stella; father, Robert Hoyt Glaspie of Linden; sister, Arloa (David) Weatherly of Linden; half brother, Dale (Gail) Stone of Coleman; Sister-in-law, Darla (Rick) Trickey of Flushing; brother-in-law, Robert (Vonnie) Ketzler of Montrose; nephews, Nicholas (Sidney) Tokarski and Christopher Tokarski; and several other nieces and nephews.
