Rodriguez, Roberto (Bob)-- Age 62, of Flint, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 2316 W. Coldwater Rd, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 12-8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek. A family service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Roberto was born March 16, 1949 in Flint to Trinidad (Martin) Rodriquez and Antonio Rodriquez. Roberto enjoyed riding motorcycles and racing hotrods. He loved the 4th of July and all other Holidays, anything that would have him surrounded by family and friends. Roberto was a loving and generous man who would help anyone out, no questions asked. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He retired from the GM V8 Flint Engine Plant in 1999 after 34 years of service. Surviving are mother, Trinidad Martin; brothers, Juan Rodriguez, David Martin; sisters, Maria (Troy) Smithingell, Lola (Mark) Piper, Martina Ortiz, Carman (Jeff) Mowery, Kimberly (Troy) Shepherd; children, Roberto (Nichole) Rodriquez, Roman (Ori) Rodriguez, Antonio (Justina) Rodriquez, Carolyn Ellis, Amy (Jose) Chimal, Sarah (Josh) Long, Phillip (Amy) Rodriguez, Jason (Rachel) Mathews, Ricardo (Myra) Rodriquez, John (Amanda) Rodriguez, Miguel (Andrea) Rodriguez, Angel (Cameron) Rogers and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
