Roberta Fogel

FOGEL, Roberta Jane - Age 87, of Fenton, died Monday, September 13, 2021.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (A live stream of the service will be available on Roberta's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Pastor Vincent Slocum officiating.  Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later date.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 12 PM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society or Lake Fenton United Methodist Church, 2581 N. Roberta was born February 27, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of Milton and Eugenia (Jackson) Robinson.  She was a 1952 graduate of Fenton High School.  She married Charles David Fogel August 5, 1972 in Fenton and he preceded her in death June 15, 2019.  Roberta retired from J.L. Hudson (Macy's) in 1989 after 28 years of service.  She had resided in Fenton for many years.  She was a member of Lake Fenton United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed traveling and doing word searches.

Surviving are: her daughter, Janie Butterworth of Fenton; grandsons, Michael Butterworth of Bruce Crossing and Timothy Henderson of Charlevoix; great grandchildren, Alydia Henderson of Traverse City and Braydon Henderson of Charlevoix; sister, Judy Leek-Relyea (Wellington) of Fenton; sister in law, Donna Robinson of Fenton; uncle, Joseph (Mickey) Jackson of Grand Blanc; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lynn Henderson; brothers, Maurice (Shirley) Robinson, Joel Robinson; and brother-in-law "special buddy", Jerry Leek.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
