Robert Woodbeck Sr.

WOODBECK, Robert Arthur Sr. - Age 84, of Davison, died August 4, 2016. Funeral services will be held 12PM Monday, August 8, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8PM Sunday and 10:30 AM until the time of service Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Robert was born December 11, 1931 in Flint, the son of Floyd and Margaret Ann (Millan) Woodbeck. He was married to Barbara Tichenor on January 7, 1961 in Grand Blanc. Mr. Woodbeck retired from General Motors. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #3814, enjoyed gardening . He worked as a groomer/trainer for trotters and pacers in harness racing and with Arabian show horses for many years. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Melody (Steve) Shaffer, Robert A. Woodbeck, Marcella (Joe) Dumont, Margie Woodbeck, Rodney (Jenny) Woodbeck; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Woodbeck; step-sister, Betty (Louie) Teeples; numerous nieces and nephews.
