Robert WOLPERT

WOLPERT, Robert (Bob) Bruce Sr. - Age 75, of Grand Blanc, passed away at Hurley Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones, on Tuesday, May 4, 2009. Bob was born on June 10, 1933 in Flint, MI. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1954 at Newport, RI. Also, Bob was a painter with Auker Associates for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara (Seay); two children, daughter, Rebecca Duberg and husband John of Grand Blanc and son, Robert Wolpert Jr. and wife Lynn of New York; 4 grandchildren, Angela Healy and husband John, Scott, Ryan and Samantha Dubert; and 4 great-grandchildren, Sydney, Hannah, Marshall and Duane. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Wolpert; mother, Dorothy Bodis; and brother, Thomas Wolpert. A memorial serice is planned for family and friends from 1-2:30 on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Hurley Medical Center.
