WISNIEWSKI, Robert John Sr. - Age 71, of Fenton, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, April 28, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton. Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrant. Burial immediately following in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Saturday from 4-8 PM and Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM; and at church Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home, 7:00 PM Sunday; A K of C 3rd Degree Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home, 7:30 PM Sunday followed by a 4th Degree Chalice Service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Wings of Mercy East Michigan (wingseastmi.org) or St. John Outreach. Bob was born September 17, 1942 in Bay City, the son of John and Victoria (Kushner) Wisniewski. He married Judith Stevenson September 29, 1962 in Bay City. He retired from GM V-8 Plant in Flint. Bob was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton Knights of Columbus Council #7418, Fenton Knight of Columbus Assembly #2031, and St. Vincent DePaul. Surviving are: his wife of 51 years, Judy; 3 children, Robert Jr. and wife Pamela Wisniewski of Linden, Wendy Wisniewski of Nashville, TN, and Cheryl Hunt of Fenton; 3 grandchildren, Krysten and husband Ian Little, Robert Wisniewski III, and Nicholas Wisniewski; 2 great grandchildren, Bradley and Madylin; 2 sisters, Jeanette Goulet of Dexter and Irene Stuart of Bridgeport; special niece, Deb and husband Jess Stewart; and many other nieces and nephews.
