Robert Williams

WILLIAMS, Robert Gene - Age 89, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday November 5, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 1PM Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 5PM - 8PM Monday and 12PM until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County. Robert was born March 19. 1927 in Dexter MO, the son of the late Homer and Verne (Cannaday) Williams. He married Esther Neumann in Mt. Morris in July of 1955, she preceded him in death in 2006. Mr. Williams enjoyed traveling in his motor home and spending time with his family. Robert retired from GM Buick Plant 36 with 33 years of service. Surviving are: daughter, Robin (Tom) Dikos of Swartz Creek; son, Dr. Gerard (Kelli) Williams of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Christie (Ian) Irvin of Eaton Rapids, Carolyn Dikos of Grand Blanc, Thomas Dikos of Swartz Creek, Shanna Williams of FL, Trevor Williams of Ferndale, Logan Williams of Kalamazoo, Brie Williams of Swartz Creek; sister, Reva Lintz of Bloomfield MO.
