Robert Wehrli

WEHRLI, Robert J.- Age 88, of Fenton, died July 31, 2017. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Thursday, August 3, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Jeff Jaggers officiating. Visitation will take place 2 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Fenton United Methodist Church or to the charity of one's choice. Bob was born in Flint, on May 27, 1929, the son of Godfrey and Louise (Merkle) Wehrli. He married Betty Jones on June 4, 1961. Bob had a deep faith in God and attended the Fenton United Methodist Church. He loved his family deeply. Bob is survived by wife of 57 years, Betty; children, Brenda and husband, Ed Gomez, Brant and wife, Cindy Wehrli; grandsons, Josh Wehrli and Spencer Gomez; siblings, Margaret Herald and Nancy (Ross) Geiger; sisters-in-law, Esther Wehrli and Sandra Wehrli, brothers-in-law, Walter Ratzlaff and Fred Buhler; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Alexander Gomez; siblings and/or spouses, Elaine (David) Ostrander, Louise (Donald) Owen, Fred (Mildred) Wehrli, Eric (Idadell) Wehrli, Richard Wehrli, Dorothy Buhler, N.
