WARREN, Robert E. - age 87, of Fenton, died October 9, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, October 14, 2022 at St. Jude Episcopal Church, 106 E. Elizabeth St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Paul Brunell officiating. Interment will follow at Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Friday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Episcopal Church Elevator Fund. Robert was born July 5, 1935 in Flint, the son of Marshall C. and Celia (Smith) Warren. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. Robert married Mary Janet Stack of November 8, 1958. He was a tool and die maker at General Motors retiring after 39 years at the Grand Blanc Metal Center. Robert was an active member of St. Jude Episcopal Church and sang in the choir for over 60 years. He also enjoyed golfing, camping and his motorcycle. Surviving are: wife, Mary J. Warren; three children, Anthony R. Warren and Kelly of Fenton, Sharon Perdue and Mike of Prescott Valley, AZ; and James A. Warren and Beverly of Livonia; seven grandchildren, Maggie, Matt and Abby, Nicholas and Anthony, and Megan and Benjamin; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Clare (June) Warren, DDS of Rochester, MN, Esther Alderman of Fenton, Allen (Jean) Warren of Jonesborough, TN and Duane (Diane) Warren of Spring Hill, TN.
