Robert Wait

WAIT, Robert Bruce - Age 74 of Grand Blanc passed on April 25, 2017 in Lapeer. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday April 29 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Dave Spoelma officiating. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Friday and 10 AM until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the National Parkinson's Foundation. Robert was born in Lapeer, He was raised in Brown City the son of Ethel and Austin Wait. He graduated from Brown City High School in 1962. He served briefly in the Army National Guard. He was a township constable officer, owned Brown City Ambulance service and worked 32 years with GM before retiring. He met Angiemae Dreyer thru a mutual friend, they were married June 1, 1973 and then built a house near Hadley MI. where they lived for 43 years. They recently built a condo in Grand Blanc. He was a member of Imlay City Christian Reformed Church and served on Council. Bob is survived by wife, Angiemae; daughter, Brenda (Tim) Holser of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Michael (Ryan) Holser, Michelle (Zach) Brandel, Matthew Holser; great granddaughter, Peyton Brandel; Sister, Nancy Stine; several nieces and nephews.
