Robert Ellsworth VINCENT

VINCENT, Robert Ellsworth -- Age 83, of Swartz Creek, died October 10, 2010 at his home. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Friday, October 15 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Fr. Gene Geromel officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, 12-3 and 5-8 PM Thursday. Mr. Vincent was born December 27, 1926 in Swartz Creek the son of Clifford and Beatrice (Lake) Vincent. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He was married to Dorothy Elston. Mr. Vincent retired from A.C. in 1982 with 30 years of service. He was a member of the VFW Post 3720 of Swartz Creek. He enjoyed farming, cooking, hunting, fishing, Detroit Tigers baseball, and spending time with his family. Surviving are: wife Dorothy; three children. Larry of Gaines, Sally and husband Rob Loomis of Okemos, Sindy and husband Dave Leppan of Gaines; grandchildren, Kristyna Vincent, Paige Vincent, Brent Vincent, Chelsea Loomis, Corrie Loomis, Ashley Loomis, Dayton Leppan, Denver Leppan; brother Fred and wife Shirley Vincent of Swartz Creek; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
