Robert Toler

TOLER, Robert David - Age 66, of Clio, died Thursday, February 27, 2020. Interment will be take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements will be announced by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Robert was born on August 18, 1953 in Flint the son of John and Mary (Dion) Toler. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School, class of 1971. Robert retired from the United States Navy after 22 years of service working as a Petty Officer First Class. Following his retirement from the Navy, Robert worked for an additional 22 years for the United States Postal Service in Flint, repairing machines. In his free time, Robert enjoyed geocaching. He is survived by his father, John Alexander Toler; sister, Kerry Ann Newton; brother, James (Pamela) Toler; sister-in-law, Debra Toler; two nephews, Thomas (Heidi) Toler and Matthew (Shelia) Toler; one great-niece and one great-nephew.
