Robert C. Taylor

TAYLOR,  Robert C., age 77 of Swartz Creek, died, Monday, November 12, 2007 at Canterbury on the Lake in Waterford.  Mr. Taylor was  born in Elba Twp., MI the son of Howard and Ruth (Riley) Taylor.  He has lived in the Swartz Creek area for many years.  Mr. Taylor was employed by Chevrolet Mtr. Division for 31 years, retiring in 1985.  Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.  Surviving are his wife: Shirley, his daughters: Delores Ann Lintz of Swartz Creek and Renea Louise Huth-Grabow of Clarkston. Also surviving are the children of a previous marriage: Gene Taylor, Mike Taylor, Rick Taylor, Bobby Taylor and Michelle Zielesch; 5 grandchildren; Tracey Landis II, Ryan Landis, Taylor Busch, Kara Huth and Chancelor Huth.  Further survivors include  brother, Ben Taylor and 2 sisters; Joyce Walker and Marjorie Best. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 16, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Rd. Chapel, 8138 Miller, Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Dr. J.D. Landis officiating. Burial to follow at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly with full Military Honors.  Mr. Taylor's family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. tonight and Thursday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
