Robert Blair TANNEHILL

TANNEHILL, Robert Blair "Robbie" - Age 38, of Grand Rapids formerly of Fenton, died Saturday, September 12, 2009 in Grand Rapids. Funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, September 18, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, with Pastor E. Taveirne officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5-9 PM and Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Legion Post #305. Robbie was born September 27, 1970 in Pontiac, the son of Robert D. and Valerie G. (Warren) Tannehill. He was a 1988 graduate of Fenton High School. He received a Bachelor Degree from Mott Community College. He served in the US Navy for 6 years, including service on the aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower during the Gulf War. He attended Saginaw Valley State University. Robbie was employed by General Electric Aviation in Grand Rapids as the lead Electronic Analyzer and Tester. He was a member of the American Legion Post #305. Surviving are: parents, Robert and Valerie Tannehill of Fenton; 2 brothers, Matthew and wife Shelli Tannehill of Fenton and Clifford and wife Heather Tannehill of Paw Paw; nieces and nephew, Rileigh, Alexis, Kendra, Delaney and Brennus; grandparents, Esther Tannehill of Mancelona and Orval and Jacklyn Warren of Clarkston; great aunt, Lou Walling of Rose Township; several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
